Ariel's Beauty Salon, by Frances C. Trimble, approximately 1968.  Ariel Mercedes Chavez (1908-1991) was the daughter of George Arnold Chavez & Maria Florence Esparza.  She was born in Texas then moved to San Francisco where she was a dancer in the 1930-1940s before running this beauty salon in the 1960-1970s.  See this other picture too.
