PAULUS ROETTER
GALLERY: Media
Film industry directors, production designers, art directors, set decorators, and art department coordinators.... you can use the artwork within this art gallery website in your films, TV shows, and other entertainment and media projects.
Please ignore the listed prices for reprints & framing because you will instead have your own custom pricing that is tailored to your show's budget to receive the highest-resolution digital files instead. These files can then be changed and manipulated by your art department and eventually printed however you see fit for their appearances on the screen. Want to change great-grandma into a Haunted Mansion-style ghostly demon portrait? No problem. You will have our permission to do whatever you need to do for your project.
As the owner of most of the original art pieces and/or as the descendant or next of kin of many of the artists (while also considering that many of the art pieces are very likely in the public domain anyway), I will sign the image releases that are required by your production company or film studio. Out of the hundreds of art pieces on this website, there are only a very small handful that I probably can't sign for, but I would put you in touch with the person who can.
In almost all possible usages, you would work from the digital file, but, in rare special cases, it might also be possible to rent the original historic artwork, assuming, of course, that it is returned in the same condition afterwards.
Anyway, please contact me to begin discussing details!
