Published in the 1859 book "Cactaceae of the Boundary" by George Engelmann, this original lithograph of the cactus Cereus procumbens, by Paulus Roetter, was hand-colored by somebody back at the time.  It could have been Engelmann or somebody else on the team, but it was most likely Paulus Roetter himself.
