Dorothy Hall Simpson sketched this portrait of Dorian Rowlee in 1934, the same year that the friends graduated from Fresno High School together.  Dorian Ellinor Rowlee was born 8 August 1917 in Bakersfield, California; married Ralph Byron Kephart on 13 August 1940 in Phoenix, Arizona; and died on 18 October 2012 in Eugene, Oregon.
