H. Hannibal Wickett G.G., by Virginia Rose Smith (1894-1984).  Hannibal Wickett (general grocer) operated a store at 12 W. Haley Street in Santa Barbara, California, at least in 1921 when he advertised extensively in the local newspaper before vanishing.  Virginia Smith, later known for her dollmaking, drew the caricature for her 1st cousin Norval C. Fast (1902-1981) who oversaw the advertising.  Fast used this artwork on his personal letterhead even many decades later.
