Mr. Micawber, by Harry Lewis.  Wilkins Micawber was a character in David Copperfield (1850), by Charles Dickens.  The artwork was from 1928 at The Old Curiosity Shop at 13/14, Portsmouth Street, Kingsway, London, England, and Harry Lewis was the proprietor of the shop.  The framed image was a gift to Sinclair G. Trimble by his sister Veronica Trimble upon her first visit to Europe that summer.
