Prairie Schooner, by Oliver Bassett, approximately 1971-1975 in one of his sketchbooks.  I wonder if these were drafts prior to doing a watercolor painting.  The unknown man in the corner appeared in lots of Bassett's sketches.  I would have said he was somebody that Bassett worked with or drank with, but there's one image where the guy is leaning against a mailbox, so maybe he was a neighbor.
