This is an unusual item that I almost didn't post, but I thought it should be seen again by the world. It is a May 1946 publicity photo by an unknown photographer at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art (which I assume may still hold the rights to the image) of actor Walter Hampden (1879-1955) standing next to Northeaster (1895), a famous painting by Winslow Homer (1836-1910). This was for the production of Private Showing, a WOR radio show "combining drama with art appreciation".
