"San Francisco: Temple Emanu-El" was drawn by Werner Drewes in 1926 from the residential neighborhood of Presidio Terrace.  Drewes did a few other etchings at the time, including one of the Temple Emanu-El courtyard.  He would later be known for abstract art and bringing the Bauhaus aesthetic to America.
