Entitled "Speckbacher's Call", this painting by Paulus Roetter (1806-1894) was done sometime around 1888, give or take a couple of years.  It was based on the 1886 painting of the same name by Franz von Defregger (1835-1921) which is now in the Museum Georg Schäfer in Schweinfurt, Germany.  Both paintings depict Josef Speckbacher (1767-1820) in the Tyrolean Rebellion of 1809 against Napoleon.
